The Crystal Garden The essential purpose of the “Pôle Verrier” is to make the Greater East Region of France the reference in the world of glass and crystal. This year, within the framework of the label “Luxembourg and Greater Region, European Capital of Culture 2007” in relation with the arrival of the TGV Est in Lorraine, the Pôle Verrier and the Regional Council of Lorraine, organize a new entitled exhibition “Crystal Garden” from the 9th of June to the 12th of August 2007 in Pont-à-Mousson. Five big crystal manufacturers, Baccarat, Daum, Lalique, Saint-Louis and Val Saint Lambert, are gathered in a prestigious place, the Norbertine Abbey of Pont-à-Mousson in the gardens of which, the designer Vincent Dupont-Rougier lets his imagination run wild. Revisiting the famous factories, he proposes an unforgettable enchantment of lights and crystal. For the first time in their history, these famous companies of art and luxury are performing on a common stage to arouse emotion and invite everyone to discover a fabulous inheritance where tradition rhymes without complex with modernity.
