A group of glasscraft associations and companies have decided to convey throughout Europe the spirit of the French Compagnons, the highest order of the craftsmen's guild.
In the scope of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme the CERFAV has been the pioneer in creating the Compagnon Verrier Européen’s degree, a chartered programme of unmatched excellence and innovation in perfect harmony with the glass tradition.
The aim is to help students become professionally autonomous by preparing them for their exams or by enabling them to set up their own glass studios.
