Czech Republic - Ambiente 2008 : Moser / Vadura
The world known Czech glassworks Moser presented in February in Frankfurt - Ambiente 2008 - a new collection of glass objects which is the achievement of the cooperation of the company with several Czech artists.
It was the occasion to show again some unique pieces especially designed by Ingrid Ráčková and David Suchopárek, Frantisek Vízner, Jiiri Suhajek, among others, for the 150th anniversary of Moser, celebrated last year.
Petr Vadura designed for this Moser’s collection 08 a new barware set called Atlantic and three vases : Op-Art, Lampion and Moon, released for the first time in Frankfurt.

The Glass Dolls by Françoise Pétrovitch
Staying at the CIAV in 2007, Françoise Pétrovitch created a 10 doll glass sculpture she named 'don't move, doll'. Each 35,43 inches high doll is unique and one of them has already been bought by the National Contemporary Art Fund while three dolls can be seen at the RX-Paris Galery until 15 March and the six remaining ones will be presented at Malbrouck castle from 21 March to 21 September 2008 within the exhibition 'L'Homme merveilleux'.
