Site of the month
Anna Torf was born in 1967 in Belgium. She studied interior design at the Sint-Lukas School for Architecture in Brussels and moved to the Czech Republic. There she specialized in stage design and worked as a freelance furniture and glass designer. She began designing her own glass collections in 200. Anna focuses her work on the ability of glass to capture, reflect and absorb light and uses not only traditional techniques like blowing, cutting and sand casting, but also new cutting techniques to reveal the secrets of her pieces from the centre to the skin: translucency and colour.
